Clancy Cottman has over 35 years’ experience as an energy executive managing business operations both in the United States and internationally.
He negotiated the first Operating Service Agreement in Venezuela in 1992, working with Lagoven, PDVSA and MEP. Subsequently, Clancy negotiated multiple acquisitions, financings and contracts in Venezuela, including exploration contracts both onshore and offshore. He arranged financing by the IFC (private arm of the World Bank) for investment in Venezuela and his efforts were instrumental in the building of the ICO gas pipeline in western Venezuela.
Currently, Clancy manages investments for the private company, Pacific Oil and Gas LLC.
